Selbst in Firmen, in denen derzeit noch kein Personalabbau vorgenommen wurde, befürchten die Mitarbeiter, dass es sie bald treffen könnte. Die Angst ist auch hier gegenwärtig (vgl. Sutton 2009: 60).

Doch „in einer Kultur der Angst und des Misstrauens stirbt jedes Unternehmertum“ (Sackmann, Leitl 2010: 36).

Somit sollte sich jedes Unternehmen ernsthaft die Frage stellen: Wie kann es gelingen, dass alle Mitarbeiter ein hohes Maß an Motivation erlangen bzw. sich erhalten und auf dieser Basis Höchstleistungen vollbringen?

Die vorliegende Hausarbeit greift diese Frage auf und beleuchtet das Thema Motivation im beruflichen Umfeld von theoretischer und praktischer Seite.
