Each chapter considers where our knowledge comes from and the book contains a model for understanding human nature: what a healthy personality might look like, what causes problems and things to consider when trying to help people overcome them.

The content of this book was originally a PhD, published by CWR under the title, A Theological and Practical Evaluation of CWR’s Waverley Christian Counselling Model. It has been adapted to make it more accessible for a broader readership.
